The Student Executive Team (SET)

The Student Executive Team (SET) is a group of driven individuals who demonstrate a strong Maverick Mindset and help create COB events and networking opportunities for students to attend. While connecting with faculty and students to advocate for positive change, SET members also promote engagement through COB-offered programs to both current and prospective students. Through weekly team meetings, students brainstorm areas for improvement within the COB as well as host and involve themselves with events such as panels and presentations. Maya Nelson

Student Executive Team Co-Chair

Why Maya joined SET: I joined SET to advocate for positive change and continuous growth within the College of Business. Being part of SET gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' experiences by creating and connecting them with the amazing resources available on campus.

Fun Fact: I love to roller blade in the summer.

Why Rebekka Joined SET: I knew the best way to make a positive impact for the College of Business for students was to join the student leadership team for the college, that team being SET. I wanted a way to reach out to potential incoming students in the Midwest about our College of Business and the opportunities we have here. I also wanted to work on bringing more business partners to the university for students to meet with.
