Our Advising staff serves students in areas pertaining to admission to the College of Business, general education courses, major and minor courses, academic appeals, recruitment, transfer evaluations, and graduation applications. We encourage students to arrange for a conference with our advising staff to discuss any areas of concern.

COB Admission Requirements
Admission to a major in the College of Business typically occurs at the beginning of the student’s sophomore year. Once admitted, students may choose to pursue a degree in one or more of the following Business majors: Accounting, Finance, International Business, Management, or Marketing.
Course Registration
Registration windows for Fall and Spring semesters open at different times dependent on the number of credits you have completed.

Find all University resources here. Registration for classes, as well as adding, dropping, changing grading method, etc, is done via the web by securely logging into E-Services using your StarID and password. You can also find your registration window in E-Services.

Group Advising
First year students with declared majors in the accounting, finance, international business, management or marketing are highly recommended to attend a virtual advising session via Zoom prior to registration.
MavPass
The Maverick Peer-Facilitated Academic Support System (MavPASS) helps students to understand difficult content in challenging courses through study sessions led by fellow students who have already succeeded in the course.
Summer Classes
The summer schedule is published in February and registration is in March.
