Wall Street Journal Program

In collaboration with The Wall Street Journal, Minnesota State University, Mankato is offering College of Business students access to the Wall Street Journal. The Journal is available in mobile, web and printed versions for convenience of the reader, with the embedded fee for any business course. Students pay a fee of $25 with any first business course they register, and that fee is what goes into making the WSJ available for students.
 In many cases, employees are expected to be educated on current events in the business world. By making the WSJ a part of their regular schedule, students are preparing for success in their future careers. As such, The Wall Street Journal has been integrated into the College of Business  as a way to supplement students’ traditional classroom education with valuable external resources to help students be in-the-know of current business trends and external events.

To access your WSJ account for the first time, follow the steps below:

  • Make sure you are on campus and connected to a MavNet network.

  • Type your campus StarID in the form below and click submit (this is the username you log into D2L with)

  • You will be directed to the WSJ account creation page. Enter your information to create an account.   Once your account is created, you can download the WSJ app, which is available in the Apple App Store and Android.

RETURNING USERS:

Use the instructions above and type in your StarID.  Do not complete the steps to create a new account. Use the steps in this renewal guide.
