The AgriBusiness & Food Innovation Program opens doors to careers in one of the nation’s largest industries. The program and minor develops students’ innovation skills within the agriculture and food industries as well as the knowledge of the business creation process.
Ag in Action
Ag in Action is a collaboration between Minnesota State University, Mankato, Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches’ Minnesota Venture Farms, My Place Mankato, and Model Citizen Farms, Paynesville to increase food, gardening and nutrition education for youth in underserved communitites.

This year's event features Kristin Duncanson, owner, and partner of Highland Family Farms, and Sheryl Meshke, CEO of Associated Milk Producers, Inc. These local and global Ag leaders will talk about how innovation is survival in an ever-changing agriculture world, especially during a pandemic.
AgriBusiness and Food Innovation Major
The AgriBusiness & Food Innovation major prepares students to be the leaders of tomorrow by developing agriculture and food knowledge, skills and abilities. Students will engage in applied learning and develop leadership skills in the agribusiness and food realm.
AgriBusiness and Food Innovation Minor
The AgriBusiness and Food Innovation Minor prepares individuals to work and innovate in agribusiness, food, and agriculturally-related businesses.
