Finance internships facilitate meaningful career progression for finance graduates. An internship gives the student an opportunity to apply and showcase what they have learned in the classroom. Performance in an internship can transition into a job offer or it can serve as reference for a full time job application.
Finance internships are available at commercial banks, insurance agencies, financial planning companies, within a companies corporate finance department, and within government agencies. Internships can be found year-round with some variation by industry (ex. investment banking internships are generally held in the summer). A student who has a part-time job doing finance-related work may earn internship credits.
We actively encourage internships for finance students. If you'd like additional assistance after reviewing the resources on this page, please contact the Internship and External Partnerships Coordinator.
