The objective of the Finance Program at Minnesota State University, Mankato is to provide students with the financial skills and understanding necessary to secure entry-level positions in private industry and the public sector. The Department of Finance offers a major which requires the student to select an area of emphasis and specialize in one or more of the four following areas: Corporate Finance, Institutional Finance, Financial Planning and Insurance, or Investment Analysis.
