Fred Jacobs is the Director of Graduate Studies in Taxation at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. He has served in that position since the inception of the Master of Business Taxation (MBT) degree program in 1978. He has been a member of the Department of Accounting faculty at the Carlson School since 1971. He was elected to membership in Beta Gamma Sigma at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he earned the MBA, JD, and PhD. degrees. He is the faculty advisor to Sigma chapter at the University of Minnesota.
